The Cornerstone Fundraiser That Fuels El Rincon
Booster Blast is El Rincon’s signature community fundraiser—combining a two-week silent auction with a festive, adults-only night out in support of our students.
Hosted by the El Rincon Booster Club, the event features great company, food and drinks, music, and exciting ways to give back. Every dollar raised funds critical programs and experiences that enrich learning and strengthen our school community.

Prior to our signature event, our Silent Auction will be open March 1–15, featuring an exciting lineup of items, experiences, and opportunities generously donated by local businesses and our community. All the items on display at the Wende on March 15.

Booster Blast - Why It Matters
​
As district-wide budget cuts continue to strip away access to essential resources—such as intervention programs, classroom aides, science programs, technology specialists, and enrichment opportunities—our work has become indispensable. In close partnership with our PTA, the Booster Club acts as a critical bridge, stepping in where funding restrictions exist to protect students from losing the programs, support, and educational experiences that are foundational to their success.
In recent years, the Booster Club has proudly and ambitiously initiated and sustained afterschool enrichment programs including Math Olympiads and Challenges, Robotics Competitions and Clubs, Girls Who Code, LEGO STEM Club, and Enhanced Recess programming. These initiatives are designed to ensure students have access to a well-rounded, engaging, and robust educational experience that is free or low-cost.

At the same time, we are working diligently to ensure the long-term sustainability of these programs while also maintaining responsible financial reserves. This approach allows us to be prepared—when permitted by the district office—to invest in additional campus support such as hiring classroom aides and interventionists.
We remain in close collaboration with other district-wide Booster Clubs and Culver City Education Foundation to collectively navigate the challenges posed by ongoing budget cuts and to shield our scholars, as much as possible, from their impact.
